🌀 Factors that affect oxidation:
- Temperature
- Humidity
- Airflow
- Ultraviolet (UV) exposure
- Geographic location and seasonal climate
🌡️ Temperature & Condition Breakdown
✅ Indoor – Below 24°C
- Balloons can maintain their shape for 2–3 days with minimal oxidation.
- After 3 days, a mild cloudy appearance may begin.
- Balloons may last 5–10 days indoors.
✅ Outdoor – Below 24°C (Not under direct sunlight)
- Balloons stay mostly intact for 1 full day.
- Oxidation begins on Day 2, with color and shape changes.
- Lifespan: 3–5 days (if not exposed to direct sun).
- ⚠️ Direct sunlight may cause self-bursting based on UV strength.
⚠️ 24–30°C | Indoor (poor ventilation)
- Balloons begin slight oxidation after 1–2 days.
- By Day 3, visible oxidation appears.
- Lifespan: 3–5 days indoors.
⚠️ 24–30°C | Outdoor (no direct sun)
- Balloons begin to oxidize within half a day.
- Lifespan: 1–2 days only.
- ⚠️ With direct sunlight, balloons may self-burst due to high UV.
🔥 Above 30°C | Indoor
- Oxidation starts within 1 day.
- Lifespan: 2–3 days even in indoor conditions.
🔥 Above 30°C | Outdoor (no direct sun)
- Balloons start changing within 1–2 hours.
- Lifespan: 0.5–1 day only.
- ⚠️ Under direct sunlight, continuous self-bursting may occur depending on local UV levels.
Normally for outdoor weather above 28'c heat, we use 3 layer of balloons, which cost more than normal prices and last longer. However we will advise if it is worth your money for hot weather. (Normally we don't recommend)
🎨 Don’t worry, everyone — Hina’s Fleir is not your average stylist!
We go the extra mile to keep your balloons fresh, glossy, and photo-ready.
Unlike standard event setups that leave balloons to fade and oxidize, we apply a professional-grade balloon shine treatment as a final touch — making your balloons stay vibrant and elegant throughout your event (and even days after).
📸 Balloon Comparison: What a Difference One Day Makes!
🟥 Left Photo: Ordinary Balloon – No Shine Treatment
- Taken 1 day after inflation
- Notice the oxidation and matte, dull finish
- This is what happens naturally with untreated balloons over time
🟥 Right Photo: Hina’s Fleir Balloon – With Shine Treatment
- Also taken 1 day after inflation
- Still glossy, smooth, and picture-perfect
- Treated with our signature final step: balloon gloss spray
- Helps extend visual freshness and adds an elegant, professional look
💡 Why It Matters for Us:
We know you're investing in memories — not just materials.
That’s why at Hina’s Fleir, we care about the finish, not just the setup.
So you can enjoy your event worry-free, knowing your balloons will look just as magical in person as they do in photos.
💡 Please note: These are general guidelines based on testing and experience across climates. Results may vary based on humidity, location, and time of day.
